Complete the short application form with your organisation's details and the certification you are interested in.

Initial Review
We review your organisation and the requested certification scope.

Assessment Requirements
We contact you with the relevant evidence requirements, assessment arrangements and fee.

Assessment
UKQAB reviews the supplied evidence and, where needed, carries out interviews or additional assessment.

Evaluation
The assessment findings are considered against the applicable UKQAB criteria.

Decision
An assessment outcome is issued: Approved, Improvement Required or Not Approved.

Certification
Where the requirements are met, UKQAB Quality Approved certification is issued for the approved scope and validity period.

Approved
The applicable requirements have been met. UKQAB Quality Approved certification is issued.
Improvement Required
Some areas need to be addressed before approval. We explain the findings and the areas for further review.
Not Approved
The applicable requirements have not been sufficiently met. Certification is not issued.
Evidence that reflects how you work.
Assessment may include documents, website reviews, online meetings, interviews, supporting records, photographs, video, samples or virtual assessment. A physical assessment can be arranged where appropriate.
We confirm the relevant requirements once we understand your organisation and proposed scope.
Continued recognition.
Certification remains valid for the period shown on your certificate, normally 12 months. Use of the Quality Approved mark remains subject to the approved scope and certification conditions.
Before expiry, the UKQAB team can discuss renewal and any updated evidence requirements with your organisation.
